Kevin has been in the horse industry for the last 30 years. He started out by training and showing for the breeders and ranchers, to help promote their breeding programs and to market their horses nation wide. Currently, he is coaching youth and amateur exhibitors to achieve their goals in the show pen; whether it is to earn a World Champion title or to help someone who just wants to get started. He is also promoting his own horses through the open divisions at shows.

To date Kevin Hood Show Horses has achieved 35 World and Reserve World Champion in three different breeds. He has shown numerous leading honor roll horses in halter and performance events as well as produced over 40 APHA Champions and 100 superior event horses though out his career.
